- Make ready 1 cup whipping cream
- Prepare 1/2 cup full-cream milk
- Prepare 1 can condensed milk
- Prepare 1 can dulce de leche
- Make ready 1 cup crushed graham crackers
- Get 1/4 cup melted butter
- Get 2-4 pcs bananas
- Get 1 tbsp sugar
- Prepare 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions to make Banoffee Pie:
- Mix together the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Mix well then pour in a springform pan lined with baking paper.
- Press down the crushed graham crackers with a spoon or the butt of a glass to form a cookie base. Then put it in the freezer for 15mins.
- When the base is set, pour the dulce de leche on the base then layer the sliced bananas on top of the caramel. Freeze again for 30mins.
- Whip the cream and sugar (firm peaks) then fold-in the vanilla, condensed milk and full-cream milk.
- Pour the mix into the cookie-caramel-banana base. Even the surface with a spatula then freeze for at least 4 hours or until set.
- If freezing overnight, take the pie out of the freezer down to the fridge for 1 hour before serving for easier slicing and better texture.
