The ingredients needed to make Kimami sewaiyya dessert..!:
  1. Take 1 cup sewaiyya (vermicelli)
  2. Take 1 cup khoya (mawa) homemade
  3. Prepare 1 cup sugar
  4. Get 1 cup milk
  5. Make ready 1 1/2 cup Water
  6. Prepare as needed Ghee
  7. Take Strands saffron
  8. Get 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  9. Take 1/2 teaspoon orange red food colour
  10. Take Handful cashews
  11. Get Handful almonds & raisins
  12. Make ready 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut powder (optional)

Kimami Sewai is a dry dessert made from thin vermicelli. In North India the seviyan is sold by thickness and the thickness is measured in Numbers. Kimami Sewai or Seviyan or Semiya or Vermicelli Halwa is a dessert made in almost every household to celebrate Eid. Eid is a special day for Muslims that comes after the holy month of Ramadan.

Steps to make Kimami sewaiyya dessert..!:
  1. Take a wok add ghee further add Chopped dry fruits roughly sauté till slightly golden set aside
  2. Then in same wok add in crushed sewaiyya sauté till golden brown remove it set aside make sure not to burn it
  3. In the same wok pop sugar & khoya (mawa) & milk mix well keep stirring till one boil further add in water 1 cup wait again till one boil
  4. Now pop in cardamom powder orange red food colour mix well then add in some fried dry fruits then add in fried sewaiyya add 1/2 cup water cover the lid & let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame burner
  5. Once it is done uncover the lid & let it soak milk & water completely lastly garnish it with cashews, almonds,raisins and Khoya with strands of saffron I mix both for garnishing the delicious kimami sewaiyya dessert is ready to relish…!
  6. Tip of the day: in this dessert it’s optional you can also add fried fox nuts that is makahana & desiccated coconut powder while adding sewaiyya but we like it rich like this so I opt for this recipe in my style alhumdulillah it’s awesome.
