  1. Take 1 pack mehran vermicelli / sewaiyya

  6. Take 1/4 cup ghee /clarified butter

  8. Take 1/4 cup mawa (homemade) (see recipe)
  9. Take 2 tablespoons raisins (kishmish)
  10. Take 2 tablespoons roughly chopped cashews (kaju)

Sewayyian is a very popular dessert in the Indian subcontinent, it’s prepared with milk, vermicelli & dry fruits. Add vermicelli and fry till it becomes golden brown. Put this in to sewaiyan and remove from heat. After an hour or so when it cools down add raisin to it because if raisins are added in hot milk it.

Steps to make Vermicelli dessert/sewaiyya sweet:
  1. Firstly take a heavy bottom wok add ghee to it & fry raisins & cashews for 40 seconds remove it set aside then grind fresh cardamoms powder also soak milk with strands of saffron until required in cooking.now in the same wok of ghee add the crushed vermicelli roast for 2 minutes once it’s nice & aromatic slowly add milk,sugar,cardamoms powder,food color stir it & cover for only 5 minutes on low flame burner.then cook until ghee separates.
  2. Once it is warm pop it in a serving bowl garnish with mawa,fried raisins & cashews.our deliciously awesome vermicelli dessert/sewaiyya sweet is ready to serve warm…!
  3. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
